BSUFC Goal Scorers: Joe Morrell

The talk in the schools all week had
been about this fixture as we took on Stoke Lane in the
league. It was always going to be a feisty one but the key
to victory was going to be whether we could rise above the
battle and play football.
The early nerves were settled when Joe
opened the scoring after only 5 minutes and then set up Sam
5 minutes later. Nathan Redmore put us 3:0 up just before
half time. In the second half there was another goal each
for Joe and Sam and one for Ollie after a great passing
move. Stoke Lane did get a goal back mid way through the
second half from the penalty spot. However Ammar got on the
score sheet with a goal on his debut and Joe completed his
hat trick to leave the final score 8:1.
So all in all a really comfortable win
and hopefully something to build on in future games.
