Ian Page – Born 1969 but swears he
feels a lot older!
Ian has been involved in the team since
it was formed at under 5/6 level helping out Steve Webb and
Joe in the process. A great character to have around the
team and someone who the boys really take to.
Ian also played in local leagues in his
playing days after being popular with his friends as a
child. Not because he was the best footballer but because
he always used to have the best ball. Rumour has it that
after being dropped for one particular game Ian went to
‘have it out’ with the manager and asked why he had been
dropped to play for the reserve team. The manager politely
replied “because your too good for the third's”. |
