Tom Coggins (Goalkeeper) -
Arguably Tom is the best goal keeper in the C
division if not the entire Under 10’s league.
Despite a number of local teams approaching Tom for
his services he has to date, stayed loyal to BSUFC.
|
|
Joseph Alemzadeh ( Defender)
-
Joseph has been with the team since he was 6 and
this year, has made the left back spot his own with
some fine performances. Strong into the tackle, a
good passer of the ball Joseph is certainly one of
the most improved players of the season so far.
|
|
Matt Baker (Defender) -
Captain Casual – Matt has developed into a very
accomplished defender whose strong tackling has been
an inspiration to the team so far this season.
He is always very cool under
pressurised situations.
|
|
Scott Crane (Defender)
- Scott is the newest member of the team having only
joined us at the start of the 2005/06 season. He
has already shown that he has the potential to grow
as a defender and make the position his own.
|
|
Daniel Abbott (Midfield) -
The workhorse of the team. Dan has always given
the team 100% effort and is always in the thick of
the action when things get tough. Don’t always get
the credit he deserves but a great lad to have in
your team.
|
|
Andrew Webb
(Midfield/Defender) – Similarly to Dan Abbott,
Andrew is a strong player and is always breaking up
the oppositions play. He has played a major part
this year in strengthening the defence of the A
Team.
|
|
Liam Vincent (Striker) -
What can I say about Liam – the Paul Scholes of
BSUFC. Liam is without doubt the most intelligent
player in the team and is always looking for the
killer ball in behind the defence for his team mates
to run onto. |
|
James Page (Defender) -
This season James has switched positions from
striker to defender and he certainly looks far more
at home. Without doubt the best left foot in the
club and his excellent passing of the ball from
defence has been the catalyst to numerous BSUFC
attacks.
|
|
Aaron Moran (Defender) -
Aaron has improved no end since joining the club at
under 6 level and often shows great potential. His
control and skill on the ball is rarely found in
boys of his age an no doubt he will go on to be a
major player in the team.
|
|
Matt Newbury (Defender) –
Mr dependable – Matt is without doubt the best
defender in the club and rarely puts a foot wrong.
Has a good attitude towards the game and in 4 years
of watching him play I have never seen the opposing
forward get the better of him.
|
|
Callum Hawkins (Defender) -
Callum
has always given 100% and has played in every
position going in order to help the team. Has
probably found his best position this season as a
central defender where
his heading of the ball, strength into the tackle
and all round athleticism comes into its own.
|
|
James Winward (Midfield) -
James is another strong aggressive midfield
player and together with Callum have forged a good
partnership in the centre of the team. Can strike a
ball well and is often found in the opposing teams
penalty area looking for goals.
|
|
Joseph Thwaites (Midfield) -
Its taken time for Joseph to play in his
favourite position of left midfield, but this season
he has shown that he can be a real asset to the
team. He tracks back well and is a real sniffer in
and around the box where he is always looking to get
on the end of crosses.
|
|
Ieuan Grabham (Striker) -
Ieuan has been one of our most formidable
attackers in recent years and like Ryan Clark in
the A team, is always one of our top goal scorers.
Has incredible pace and balance which helps him to
ride tackles from the opposition. A real handful!
|
|
Josh Seymour (Striker) –
What Josh lacks in height, he certainly makes up in
effort and ability. He is deceivingly quick and
always somehow manages to ride opposing tackles.
Perhaps don’t get his fair share of goals but a
great asset for the team none the less. |
